Getting Started

Welcome to Blindfold AI. This guide will help you install the application and get your first session running seamlessly.

1Installation

First, download the correct binary for your operating system from our download page.

  • Mac Users: Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag the Blindfold AI icon into your Applications folder. Because the app is currently unsigned, macOS might prevent it from opening initially. To bypass this, right-click (or Control-click) the app in your Applications folder and select "Open" from the context menu.
  • Windows Users: Run the downloaded .exe installer. If Windows Defender SmartScreen blocks the installation, click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
  • Linux Users: Run sudo dpkg -i blindfoldai.deb in your terminal or install it via your distribution's graphical package manager.

2Account Creation

Launch the application. You will be greeted by the login screen.

If you don't have an account, click "Sign Up" and follow the OTP verification process sent to your email. Once verified, you will have access to the dashboard.

Proceed to the "Configuring AI Providers" section to link your API keys.
