Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

By creating an account and using the Service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent.

1. The Service

Blindfold AI provides an invisible desktop overlay and AI assistant tool that connects your local screen context to third-party AI providers. The core functionalities of the Service currently include:

  • Real-time screen context capture and chat assistance.
  • Invisible overlay integration for discreet assistance.
  • Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) architecture for integration with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other supported AI providers.
  • Coding and behavioral interview copilot features.

The Service is provided "as-is." We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

2. Your Responsibilities

To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Maintain the security of your account password and not disclose it to any third party.
  • Take full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you have authorized them.
Professional Integrity

Blindfold AI is intended for personal assistance, practice, and productivity. Users assume full responsibility for adhering to the academic, professional, and ethical guidelines of their respective institutions or employers when using the software during meetings or evaluations.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone else to do so. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network.
  • Breach or otherwise circumvent any security or authentication measures.
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Service, or attempt to do so.
  • Use the Service to collect or store personal data about other people without their consent.

4. Third-Party AI Providers (BYOK)

The Service interacts with third-party AI providers (including OpenAI and Anthropic) via API keys provided by you to analyze screen context. We are not responsible for:

  • The content, accuracy, or availability of responses generated by these AI providers.
  • Changes to AI provider APIs, pricing, or availability that may affect the Service.
  • Any costs or charges incurred on your third-party API accounts as a result of using the Service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blindfold AI disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the Service's content or AI-generated responses.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Blindfold AI, its directors, employees, or agents be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever resulting from your access to and use of our Service, or any consequences arising from your reliance on the AI-generated responses during interviews or meetings.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding data provided by you) are and will remain the exclusive property of Blindfold AI and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your prompt configurations and data generated locally remain your property.

8. Termination

You are free to stop using our Service at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service with notice to you if:

  • You are in breach of these Terms.
  • Your use of the Service would cause a real risk of harm or loss to us or other users.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
